- In the Merlin fandom, I wrote Ulfyn's Gift, which is a short outsider POV on Merlin and Arthur's (implied) established relationship.
eos_rose very generously recorded it as podfic (\o/), which you can download at this post of hers.
- For the
sga_santa fic exchange, I wrote That Comfort Thing for
zinfic, which was much fun because I love Zinnith's stories and had a blast seeing if I could push the same buttons. ♥
- Also for
sga_santa, I wrote Nobel Deeds as a pinch hitter for
goddess47. That story is very dear to me, as I've been wanting to write it for years (the lovely, fantabulous
naye even took a walk through Stockholm for me so I could see what the City Hall looked like ♥) and this finally gave me the excuse. I think it's one of my better fics.
- As a rec,
moonlettuce took pity on me and wrote David Sheppard's Family Album as a pinch hitter appreciation gift, in which John's brother meets John's boyfriend and doesn't get the appeal until his wife hits him over the head. *g* Thank you for that!
- I actually took part in another sekrit thing, but it hasn't gone live yet. Watch this space for another link!
More Dresden Files, the Codex Alera, and generally more than I thought I'd read.

With so much of my time taken up by reading fan fiction, I really didn't think I'd manage to read 52 books in 2009, and if not for audio books I could listen to while renovating, cooking and cleaning, this project would have failed, failed, failed. But it didn't, and I managed not only 52, but 55. Go me!
Alas, I'm mostly done with renovating, so I won't take on this challenge for 2010.

Whatever am I going to do with you?
( spoilers for seasons 1-4 in their entirety, especially season 4 )
Time for some ego-stroking a meme!
Leave a testimonial for me to put on my userinfo page... a few short lines advertising why I'm a good LJ friend / RL friend / internet buddy or what have you. Then repost this (if you want to) so your friends can do the same.

chkc drew a McShep chibi for me here! \o/
-
eos_rose recorded my Merlin ficlet The Sword in the Stone as podfic! The download link can be found here.
-
sga_santa opened this year's prompts for everyone so the million words might be reached after all. More information on that here.
- AND! Last but certainly not least (so not least!), my sister
broet_chan gifted me with a drawing she made for a story I wrote ages ago (with more emotion than skill, I'm afraid). A friend of hers coloured it, and I'm told the Anaphylaxis Birds are hiding somewhere in the blue, blue trees. (Nicole, imagine the crater left by the Wraith Dart Mark II behind them hills. *g*)
( Cut for size )
Fic roundup for all the sekrit things I participated in around New Year's, I hope. *bounces*

This is the sekrit thing I was talking about yesterday -
